김한결(Realbird)은 서울을 기반으로 활동하는 화가이다. 작업은 무엇을 원하는지 확신하지 못하는 상태와, 흔들리는 존재를 둘러싼 무심한 세계를 회화로 탐구한다.
작품 속 ‘풍선 꼬리가 달린 코끼리 인간’은 풍선이 되고 싶지만 끝내 풍선이 되지 못한 존재이다. 무엇을 원하는지 확신하지 못한 채 남겨진 이 형상은 흔들리는 존재와 변하지 않는 세계 사이의 간극을 드러낸다.
아크릴 물감의 불투명한 글레이징과 반복된 덧칠은 이전의 흔적을 완전히 지우지 않은 채 화면에 축적된다. 회화는 하나의 결론보다 여러 가능성이 함께 남아 있는 시간을 담아낸다.

The Balloon-Tailed Elephant Human longs to become a balloon but never does. Never fully certain of what it wants, the figure remains an elephant with a balloon tail.
Through opaque acrylic glazing and repeated layers, earlier traces are preserved rather than erased. The paintings dwell not on conclusions, but on the time before they are reached.
